A fast new favorite in our household! The Yakima Marblehead squash was originally purchased as seeds from The Experimental Farm Network due to its regional adaptiveness. This squash performed so well here in north-eastern Washington/Idaho border, and we couldn’t love it more! The plants really took off in our unseasonably hot summer, quickly filling in trellises and fence lines with its vining habit. The fruits easily topped 30 pounds each, and the flesh of the squash made a killer winter squash soup when roasted.
